The Bounty Hunter

Granted there was nothing spectacular about The Bounty Hunter, but to only get 7% at RT is ridiculous. I mean the combined hotness of Aniston and Butler earns a 30% minimum, plus if he is shirtless add 5% (BTW, he is shirtless). It is a predicable movie, as all rom-com's are. I knew the end before I even watched it. With movies of this caliber, the only reason one would want to watch it would be to hope that the laughs are good and earned, and maybe just maybe there will be a ray of hope that gives you a new perspective. I will tell you at the end what that was for me. Butler is an Ex cop turned bounty hunter. He chases down the bail jumpers and earns his Ten percent. He enjoys what he does and still has cop buddies looking out for him. One normal day his ex wife jumps bail, not because she is stupid, there were just more pressing matters at the time of her court appearance. She ends up on his hit list. If he brings her in, it's 5 grand in his pocket. The story goes: they dated for six months, got married, it lasted 9 months til the divorce. There is a bit of animosity to say the least. He sees this as the advantage of a lifetime. When it comes to bringing criminals to justice there aren't many rules and he is gonna love every minute of it. What would normally look like a kidnapping seems perfectly fine since she is on the lam. He must bring her to jail and collect. Unfortunately she is a reporter who knows too much about the wrong people and they need to erase her from the Earth. Butler doesn't want her dead, and he needs his bounty so now he needs to keep her safe. Loan sharks get involved, so do dirty cops. I enjoyed the jokes and the movie is not as bad as that 7% would depict.

**Life Lesson Learned: What would be the sweetest non violent revenge to do to your Ex? How about breaking into her home and DELETING ever single bit of programming she has recorded on her TIVO. When he did that to her, it made me think how pissed I would be if someone erased all my shows.
